Flatbed Image Quality…
Since the COPYmate 18 needs no document transport system, image quality depends solely upon the original document, and the superior quality of the 4-line CCD array. This array captures RGB image data at 48-bit colour and 16-bit greyscale, ensuring the 24-bit colour file and 8-bit greyscale file maintains the true colour characteristics of the original document. In addition, the COPYmate 18 has built-in Colour Calibration software that can be initiated through the scanner’s iJET Panel.
Industry-standard IT8 colour calibration is performed with a simple target and the press of a button on the scanner.
The COPYmate 18 also has on-board real time colour correction and 2D-filters for colour sharpening, softening and blur provides superior results with a wide variety of input images. COPYmate 18 supports the latest in Contex’s monochrome scanning technology with Dual 2D-Adaptive enhancement that works simultaneously on foreground, background, edges and other individual aspects of the original so you produce clean, crisp scans even from poor quality drawings. Dual 2D-Adaptive processing is the only pixel level cleanup of its kind in the industry today.
