CAD Based Electrical Schematic / Diagrams
We know from experience that many companies who operate their own electrical distribution networks do not necessarily have up to date records, and in some circumstances have no records at all.
Does your company have accurate and concise records available of your electrical distribution network? Remember these are your company's assets.
CAD Data Services Ltd can provide your company with all the necessary records, which can be either created and/or customised from existing paper drawings and/or by a site survey carried out by the client or by CAD Data Services Ltd.
A typical electrical survey would consist of:
- A schematic diagram, symbology based on BS3939 or European standard EN60617, or customised to the client's requirements.
- At a glance this will provide vital information concerning the electrical construction of the system, detailing the location of electrical appliances and distribution equipment.
- Points of isolation, potential load and phasing, conductor construction and cross sectional area, equipment details and cable identification numbers/letters.
These records would be produced in either Microstation or Autocad format.
Optional Additions
Details to suit your company...
Main site drawing, on which all located cables are recorded over an Ordnance Survey geographic background, any visible pipe sections, culverts or inspection chambers which provide suitable access to the cables therein could also be recorded, identified and labelled.
All of the above information can also be added to the Site Electrical Maintenance Suite Software.
CAD Data Services can also offer an Administration Service to update both the CAD drawings and the Site Electrical Maintenance Suite software on an as required basis, using our Change Note system.
